Rob Burlie Appointed 2nd Vice President of the Ontario Good Roads Association Board of Directors
OAKVILLE, ON, March 4, 2014 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, February 26, 2014, during the inaugural Board of Directors meeting, Rob Burlie, P.Eng, Manager, Road Operations, Toronto/East York District, City of Toronto, was elected as 2nd Vice President of the Ontario Good Roads Association Board of Directors.
In addition to serving four years on OGRA Board of Directors, Rob is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, the Municipal Engineers Association, Canadian Technical Asphalt Association and Pavements Committee of the Ontario Provincial Standards. Responsible for the effective management, supervision and administration of in-house and contracted services, Rob is well versed in all aspects of Road Operations, from which OGRA has greatly benefited.
The Board of Directors provide policy guidance and leadership to the OGRA staff and fiscal oversight of OGRA activities.
The mandate of the Ontario Good Roads Association is to represent the infrastructure interests of Ontario's 444 municipalities through advocacy, consultation, training and the delivery of identified services.
