Robert Burlie, Manager of Road Operations ascends to OGRA Presidency
TORONTO, Feb. 25, 2016 /CNW/ - On February 24, 2016, the Ontario Good Roads Association elected its Board of Directors for the 2016/17 term with Robert Burlie, Manager of Road Operations, Toronto/East York District, City of Toronto being elected President. The last time someone from the City of Toronto was president of OGRA was in 1994. In his speech to the membership, Mr. Burlie promised to continue to advocate on behalf of all Ontario's 444 municipalities in the area of asset management and revenue tools.
Ken Lauppé, Manager, Road Operations, East District, Public Works for the City of Brampton was elected 1st Vice-President. And Luc Duval, Director of Public Works & Engineering, City of Timmins was elected 2nd Vice President.
