MENLO PARK, Calif., Nov. 28, 2018 /CNW/ -- Kathleen Trimble, vice president of supplier inclusion for staffing firm Robert Half, has been selected by the American Institute of Diversity and Commerce for induction into the Women's Business Enterprise Hall of Fame.
"Kathleen has played a significant role in the success of Robert Half's supplier inclusion practices," said Ken Gitlin, Robert Half senior vice president of Operational Support. "For more than 25 years, she has been an active supporter and champion for diverse businesses, partnering with numerous organizations nationwide. We congratulate her on this well-deserved recognition."
Trimble joined Robert Half in 2004 as supplier diversity manager and assumed her current position in 2014. She serves as chair for the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) National Certification Committee, WBENC Executive Committee and WBENC board of directors. She is also on the board of directors for Women's Business Enterprise Council-West.
Trimble was inducted into WBENC's Hall of Fame in 2010 and recognized as one of the First Ladies in Supplier Diversity.
Recently, Trimble helped WBENC and Robert Half jointly create an Advanced Leadership Training program for female business owners, which includes WBENC Regional Partner Organization presidents and WBENC staff. This yearlong program provides mentoring and education for professional and personal development.
Trimble was honored at an induction ceremony on Tuesday, November 27, at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas, Texas.
