ROCA Commences Rehabilitation Work at MAX Mine
TSX.V: ROK
VANCOUVER, Nov. 24 /CNW/ - Roca Mines Inc. (TSX-V: ROK) ("Roca" or "the Company") announces that crews have commenced rehabilitation work at the MAX Molybdenum Mine. As previously described, an airblast that occurred in late September caused damage to temporary ventilation bulkheads and landings within the ventilation raise and manway. No damage occurred to permanent bulkheads or other infrastructure.
Working from upper levels to lower elevations, mine crews will systematically inspect, repair and upgrade the ventilation bulkheads and manway raise components as required. This will not only ensure that the manway is safe for egress, but will also improve the overall ventilation system in the mine. Updates on work progress and planning will be provided over the coming weeks.
