The annual conference and trade show introduces the first-ever technology destination at HealthAchieve
TORONTO, Nov. 2, 2015 /CNW/ - HealthAchieve, the signature conference and trade show of the Ontario Hospital Association and one of the largest shows of its kind in North America, kicks off today at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre with a promising speaker line-up including rocket scientist Natalie Panek and two Canadian comedians and actors – Jonny Harris and Martin Short.

The award-winning tradeshow floor will feature close to 300 exhibitors demonstrating the latest in health care innovation. This year HealthAchieve will host their first-ever technology destination.
A partnership with the Intelligent Health Association (IHA), the Intelligent Hospital Pavilion™ (IHP) will provide attendees with the opportunity to see the powerful impacts and uses of technology in action. The IHP is a must-see attraction on the exhibit floor, featuring state-of-the-art emergency and patient demonstration rooms, a video of Humber River Hospital's fully integrated digital hospital, and a live showcase of the latest devices – allowing attendees to get up close and personal with wearable technologies.
Attendees will get guided tours and live demonstrations of how a number of technologies, when integrated together in real-time, can result in improved patient care and patient safety, while helping the hospital produce better operating efficiencies. At the Demonstration Zone, attendees will be able to test out wearable technologies including: Apple Watch, Garmin VivoActive, Pebble, Google Glass, Scanadu Scout, and GoBe.
