Vancouver based luxury train company expands advisory board with strategic expertise
VANCOUVER, Oct. 23, 2015 /CNW/ - John Furlong, Chair, Rocky Mountaineer Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Bob Armstrong to the Board.
Mr. Armstrong is a seasoned executive with a strong financial background and a broad range of business and community experiences. From 1997 to 2014, he served in several roles at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers including four years as Chief Financial Officer, four years as Chief Operating Officer and most recently as Chief Strategic Development Officer. A Chartered Professional Accountant, Bob worked with KPMG for several years and held financial management positions in the shipping and television production industries.
Bob currently advises companies on dealing with the many challenges of growing, expanding and innovating, with an emphasis on strategic planning and leadership development.

Bob and his wife Elizabeth-Anne have three children and reside in New Westminster, BC.
