Rogers keeps Canadians closer with the new Ultimate Unlimited Family Plan

Limitless local calling and texting makes it easier to stay connected to loved ones

TORONTO, Feb. 6, 2012 /CNW/ - Rogers Communications today announced it will launch the Ultimate Unlimited Family Plan, a best-in-class wireless plan for families and groups that offers unlimited local talk and text to anyone and unlimited Canada-wide calling between five plan members.

"Whether it's a family with kids at home, away at college or a newly joined couple, Canadian families can now bring together all their smartphones and cell phones onto one wireless plan with great value from a trusted brand and a reliable network," said John Boynton, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Rogers Communications. "No longer will Canadian families have to deal with multiple call centres or bills making it easier for them to stay connected to their loved ones as much as they want to."

The Ultimate Unlimited Family plan starts at $95.94 per month for two lines including unlimited voice and messaging or $140.94 per month for two lines including unlimited voice, unlimited messaging, and 2GB of data to share amongst plan members. Customers can add three additional lines for their grandparent, child or roommate starting at $27.97 per line per month for the unlimited voice and messaging plan or $37.97 per line per month for the unlimited voice, messaging and data plan.

With these family plans customers will receive great unlimited features including:

• Unlimited Local Talk
• Unlimited Extreme Text Messaging
• Unlimited Canadian-wide calling between plan members
• And available soon, unlimited Canadian-wide calling from their computer

With the unlimited voice, messaging and data plan option, plan members can share 2GB of data with the option to increase this for just $10 a month for an additional 1GB of data. Customers can also add unlimited Canada-wide long distance for just $10 per line per month.

When customers are purchasing one eligible device they can get up to 4 more at $0 each with a 3-year term Ultimate Unlimited Family Plan. This offer includes some of the hottest devices including the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE, Motorola RAZR, HTC Raider, Nokia Lumia 710 and many more. All Rogers customers also gain value from many included Rogers services such as Rogers Phone Finder and the Handset Protection Guarantee.

Small Business customers wanting to manage their business costs can sign up for the SmartTeam Sharing Unlimited plan, an identical plan to the Unlimited Family Plan that lets up to five team members share voice and data.
