Rogers Media premieres Prom Queen: The Homecoming available online, on
iPhone, and iPad
TORONTO, June 30 /CNW/ - Rogers Media today announced the exclusive Canadian Premiere of Prom Queen: The Homecoming. The newest installment in the Prom Queen series, will premiere on July 5, 2010, and is the latest show to be added to the Citytv.com multi-screen initiative, Shorts in the City presented by Nissan. A total of 22 episodes will be released over the coming weeks at Citytv.com, Flare.com and Louloumagazine.com. The series will also be featured on the Shorts in City free iPad app. On the free iPhone app, the series is exclusively available to Rogers and Fido customers.
The Prom Queen series was produced by Vuguru, Michael Eisner's new media studio in which Rogers is an investor. The first release of Prom Queen, achieved worldwide success with 20 million views of the first season and was nominated for an Emmy in Outstanding Broadband Drama. Both Prom Queen and Prom Queen: Summer Heat, the first two series released by Vuguru are also available on Shorts in the City.
The highly anticipated release of Prom Queen: The Homecoming is the first in a series of premieres through Shorts in the City. "Prom Queen 3 is filled with drama and excitement; each episode will keep audiences coming back for more.
