Rolta Names Senior Vice Presidents of Sales for Oracle Consulting Services

ALPHARETTA, GA, Sept. 26, 2014 /CNW/ - Rolta, an Oracle Platinum Partner with more than 1,000 Oracle resources worldwide, announced today the appointments of Jonathan Vivar and Joseph Ung as Senior Vice Presidents of Sales for the Company's Oracle Consulting Services.

At Rolta, Vivar will have full responsibility of leading the sales team for Rolta's Oracle Consulting Services across all industry verticals, working closely with subject matter experts to maximize ROI on investments by clients in E-Business Suite, Enterprise Performance Management and Business Intelligence. Prior to joining Rolta, Vivar served as the senior executive leading the North American Public Sector sales organization of Oracle's Consulting Services, and was responsible for the full suite of application and technology services. Previously, he was HP's National Sales Director, where he led and managed a team responsible for the company's entire portfolio of products and solutions for the public sector, state and local government, education and public healthcare markets across the U.S. Additionally, he has held several leadership positions at CGI, Unisys and IBM. Vivar sits on the Board of Directors at the Pennsylvania Technology Council, helping to provide the state strategic technology direction.

Ung's focus will be on the growth of Rolta's Application Managed Services, and expanding Rolta's intellectual property including Rolta SmartMigrate™, Rolta RapidHANA™, Rolta OneView™ and various Business Intelligence solutions.  His career spans successful tenures at Oracle, Price Waterhouse, and Deloitte Consulting. Most recently he served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Core Services, a leading company focused on cloud, hosting, managed services and implementation of Oracle applications and technology. Ung co-founded and built ThoughtDigital, a 140+ person consulting organization, before selling it to Zensar Technologies in 2007.
