TORONTO, Aug. 12, 2015 /CNW/ - ROOTS CANADA, an iconic Canadian fashion retailer celebrates the Canadian music industry with its new August 2015 global campaign, "#sweatstyle". Featuring a diverse cast of Canadian musicians, ROOTS CANADA highlights Canadian artists and what inspired their careers in the music industry.

Each artist was captured at notable Toronto landmarks such as The Drake Hotel, The Berkeley Church, and Kops Records. "The campaign is a true collaboration between the artists, Sony Music, Dine Alone Records, Warner Music and Roots. The #sweatstyle campaign launches August 13th in celebration of our 42nd anniversary with 42% off all Roots sweats, one day only at Roots stores and roots.com," explains Raymond Perkins, Director of Culture at ROOTS.
