The Rotary Club of Toronto is celebrating 100 years of service to the community. During our Centennial year, we are donating in excess of $1,000,000 to local and international agencies!

Dr. James D. Fleck OC, an entrepreneur and business professor, has made giving to the arts a way of life. His generous donations, and his ability to convince others to give, have contributed to his outstanding philanthropic work. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 1997. He is also the 2009 recipient of the Ramon John Hnatyshyn Award for Voluntarism in the Performing Arts, which is part of the Governor General Awards.ng Arts, which is part of the Governor General Awards

The Centennial Award of $100,000: Sherbourne Health Centre, "The Rotary Club of Toronto Newcomer Clinic"
The Rotary Club of Toronto Newcomer Clinic, in partnership with Sherbourne Health Centre, will take high quality health care and health promotion straight into the heart of the diverse, densely populated and low-income St James Town community in downtown Toronto. Residents of this "world within a block" will gain access to much needed one-stop health services that will support their dignity and wellbeing.

The Rotary Club of Toronto is the local chapter of Rotary International, a volunteer-driven organization of business and professional leaders dedicated to improving communities through a range of humanitarian, intercultural and educational activities.
