The Mint will unveil a new silver collector coin celebrating Canada's Northern Lights at 10:30 a.m. at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre, located at 1171-1st Avenue (media are requested to arrive at 10:15 a.m.). The following will participate in the coin unveiling:

The Mint will host a free program of activities for the public from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Mt. McIntyre Recreation Centre (Grey Mountain Room), located at 1 Sumanik Drive. Activities will include:
- A coin exchange for the 2015 quarters celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Canadian flag;
- Displays for the public to hold medals from the Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Para Pan Am Games and the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games;
- An inside look at what goes on at the Mint through exclusive videos; and
- Draws to win the Mint's newest collector coins
