Royal Canadian Mint to unveil circulation coin commemorating the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice Français
WINNIPEG, Oct. 11, 2018 /CNW/ - The Royal Canadian Mint will officially unveil a new two-dollar circulation coin commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Armistice, which ended the First World War on November 11, 1918. The event will take place at the Mint's Winnipeg, Manitoba facility on October 15, 2018, where the coin is being produced. Media will also be invited to tour the Mint's production area after the unveiling.
For security reasons, media interested in touring the production facility must register in advance by e-mailing confirmation of attendance to [email protected] no later than 12:00 pm EST on Friday, October 12, 2018.
