Royal Canadian Mint to Unveil Circulation Coin Marking 50 Years of Progress for LGBTQ2 Canadians Français
OTTAWA, April 18, 2019 /CNW/ - The Royal Canadian Mint will officially unveil a new circulation coin recognizing 50 years of progress in the journey to equal rights for LGBTQ2 Canadians. The world's first circulation coin recognizing LGBTQ2 rights will be revealed at The 519, in the heart of The Village in Toronto.
Guests are also invited to trade their pocket change for this new $1 circulation coin at the conclusion of the program.
