Royal LePage Commercial Grows 50% in Six Months
Focus on networking, resources and support draws new recruits to the brand
TORONTO, Oct. 24, 2012 /CNW/ - Since its launch in April 2012, Royal LePage Commercial has grown by an impressive 50 per cent and continues to provide commercial practitioners with the tools and resources necessary to address the real estate needs of business and investment clients.
"Royal LePage introduced its commercial segment to support the company's nationwide network of commercially focused real estate practitioners and their clients," said Barbara Gibson, manager, Royal LePage Foothills Commercial in Calgary. "There was a lot of excitement around the launch since there wasn't a national brand dedicated to meeting the needs of the under 20 million dollar market. Since April, Royal LePage has attracted a number of internal agents and external recruits from competitor real estate firms and today, has over 240 quality commercial sales practitioners operating across Canada."
Royal LePage Commercial's strong national presence has provided agents with the opportunity to work with other Royal LePage members.
"Our commercial agents are spread out across the country from urban areas to smaller markets where larger commercial brokerages don't have a presence. Commercial agents have the opportunity to network with one another including Royal LePage's residential brokers and agents, who regularly receive leads from clients interested in selling or purchasing commercial properties," explained Peter Hoffman, broker and owner, Royal LePage Triland Realty in London. "Our agents can also work with local commercial representatives elsewhere to find properties for buyers interested in purchasing commercial real estate in other provinces."
Gibson noted that Royal LePage Commercial looks for every opportunity to connect their growing network and provide resources, such as in person professional development sessions and webcasts, in a manner that is convenient for brokers and agents.
"Our strong brand recognition and dedicated staff have helped grow our network. As our brand grows, we will continue to look for new and innovative ways to support our network and offerings," added Hoffman.
