Royal Ontario Museum Terracotta Army Exhibition to open trading on Toronto

Officials from Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, Royal Ontario Museum and Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Toronto to participate
TORONTO, July 8 /CNW/ - Dr. Ming-Tat Cheung, President and Chairman of the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, William Thorsell, CEO of the Royal Ontario Museum and Mr. Lu Kun, Deputy Consul General, the People's Republic of China in Toronto will join Tom Kloet, CEO, TMX Group and Robert Fotheringham, Senior Vice President, Trading, TMX Group, to open trading on Toronto Stock Exchange on Friday, July 9, 2010.
The market opening ceremony is in celebration of the Terracotta Army Exhibition at the Royal Ontario Museum. "Our organization enjoys a strong business relationship with the People's Republic of China and we are very pleased to participate in welcoming this important Chinese exhibit to Toronto," said Mr. Kloet. "We are also pleased to recognize the ROM's role in hosting the exhibit, adding to the exciting cultural landscape in Toronto."
Discovered by farmers in northern China, the terracotta army pits of the Warrior Emperor Ying Zheng are one of the greatest archaeological finds in history.
