RV Show Season Opens Today with the launch of the Toronto RV Show and Extravaganza
TORONTO, Jan. 19, 2012 /CNW/ - RV Show season debuts with record-low prices and reports of affordable vacation options for families. Go RVing Canada promotes the RV vacation as an ideal time for families to discover the freedom, fun and flexibility of the RV lifestyle.
"The Toronto RV show is the largest in Ontario and with over 500 models on display. It's a fun and easy way to start planning your summer vacation," says Alana Fontaine, Go RVing Canada spokesperson. The Toronto RV Show and Extravaganza opens today at the Toronto Congress Centre and runs through Sunday, January 22nd.
This is an excellent time to buy an RV with reports indicating prices have remained stable at record-lows amid economic uncertainty and a strong Canadian dollar. In 2011, RV sales surged to near pre-recession levels as families discovered the value of an RV vacation. Fontaine adds, "RVing offers families an opportunity to make the most of their vacation spending. They can cook in the comfort of their RV's, campground costs are extremely affordable and the kids can bring their games along for quality family time."
Go RVing Canada released the results of a survey conducted by PKF Consulting that reported that an RV vacation can be up to 75% cheaper than any other type of family trip, regardless of trip duration, distance, or location. "It's easy to save money on a family vacation when you don't have to worry about the costs of flights, hotels, and eating out at restaurants," concluded Fontaine.
Winter RV shows are an excellent opportunity for potential RV buyers to explore all that RVing has to offer with many local RV dealers and RV campgrounds under the same roof.
