RYU Apparel Secures First Enclosed Mall Location

Vancouver urban athletic brand to open fourth store in Metropolis at Metrotown

VANCOUVER, Aug. 18, 2016 /CNW/ - RYU Apparel Inc. (TSX VENTURE: RYU & Frankfurt Stock Exchange: RYA), the world's first tailored, technical urban athletic brand, today announces it has secured a location for its fourth brick-and-mortar store. Located within Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby, the new store will be RYU's first enclosed mall location.

As British Columbia's largest shopping centre, Metropolis at Metrotown is home to over 400 stores and services and is known as one of the province's premiere shopping destinations. The new RYU store will span over 2,000 square feet and is slated to open in Summer 2017.

RYU is slated to open two new retail locations within Metro Vancouver by the end of 2016 – an 1,100 square foot store located on Thurlow at Robson and a third location at the redesigned Park Royal South.
