MARKHAM, ON, June 26, 2014 /CNW/ - Saint Elizabeth, a national health provider and innovator, is proud to announce it will be working with three unique ventures who participated in the recently concluded Impact8 program , a bootcamp for social businesses to learn how to widen their impact. The program was co-sponsored by the MaRS Centre for Impact Investing and Saint Elizabeth.
Saint Elizabeth became involved with Impact8 to support the work of entrepreneurs intent on empowering individuals to be in control of their health and well-being, which was the focus of this spring's programming.
In the immediate term, Saint Elizabeth is partnering with QoC Health (www.qochealth.com), a health technology company that deploys person-driven care solutions. Saint Elizabeth is also working with Komodo OpenLab (www.komodoopenlab.com) and MyVoice (www.myvoiceaac.com) to help get their life-changing innovations in the hands of individuals and families. Both technologies allow people with mobility and speech impairments to use smartphones and tablets to lead richer, more independent lives.
