Saint Paul University Alumni Association honours Gatineau Family with Alumni of the Year Award Français
OTTAWA, Sept. 19, 2012 /CNW/ - This year, Homecoming 2012 at Saint Paul University will be a celebration to remember. The Alumni Association's Homecoming event this Friday, September 21, 2012 will honour not one Alumni of the Year but three Alumni: the Lagacé family.
Gilles and Francoise Lagacé met at Saint Paul University, are married and have earned five degrees in philosophy, theology and missiology in five decades. Their daughter Isabelle graduated from Saint Paul University with a degree in communications. As a couple and as a family, they have contributed to the Gatineau community in many ways; offering their time and assistance to their diocese, non-for-profit community organizations, school committees, cooperative housing, Development and Peace, and the United Way. The Lagacé family will be available for interviews on September 21, 2012.
Homecoming 2012 will begin with a barbecue and a music recital on the luscious lawn of Saint Paul University followed by a cocktail reception and banquet. This annual event aims to raise funds for the new Endowment Fund that will be created in the Lagacé family's honour to provide scholarships and assist students in need.
