Sam Roberts Named JUNO Awards Sustainability Ambassador
CARAS expands efforts to follow ambitious sustainability standard for the second year
TORONTO, March 19, 2012 /CNW/ - For the second consecutive year, The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) will be using the Canadian Standards Association's event sustainability management standard, CSA Z2010, to guide the design and delivery of JUNO Awards events. To help expand public engagement in this initiative, CARAS is pleased to announce that Sam Roberts will act as the first ever JUNO Awards Sustainability Ambassador.
In his role as Sustainability Ambassador, Sam is recording a PSA that will air during the JUNO Awards CTV broadcast pre-show on Sunday, April 1 and also be shared via social media networks.
