Vincent V. Sands completes term as chair of CIBC Mellon Global Securities Services Company and CIBC Mellon Trust Company
TORONTO, April 13, 2015 /CNW/ - CIBC Mellon, a Canadian leader in asset servicing, announced today that Samir Pandiri, Executive Vice President and CEO, Asset Servicing, BNY Mellon, has joined the Boards of Directors of CIBC Mellon Global Securities Services Company and CIBC Mellon Trust Company, and will serve as Chair of both Boards. Mr. Pandiri assumed his role as Chair on April 1, 2015. Vincent V. Sands, Executive Vice President, Asset Servicing, BNY Mellon, stepped down as Chair and as a member of CIBC Mellon's Boards on the same date.
Pandiri joined BNY Mellon in 2005. Prior to his appointment as CEO of Asset Servicing, Pandiri served as CEO of Asset Servicing in the Americas and CEO of BNY Mellon's Alternative Investment Services businesses. He is a member of BNY Mellon's Operating Committee; the Europe, Middle East and Africa Management Committee; and is also a member of the company's Global Diversity and Inclusion Council. Pandiri holds B.S and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering and an M.B.A. in Finance, all from Columbia University, New York.

The Boards of Directors comprise the same representatives, with the exception of Tom Monahan, President and CEO of CIBC Mellon, who is a Director of CIBC Mellon Trust Company only.
