Sandra Pupatello joins PwC as Director of Business Development and Global Markets

Former Ontario Minister of Economic Development and Trade brings her skills to PwC

TORONTO, Jan. 23, 2012 /CNW/ - PwC is pleased to announce that Sandra Pupatello, former Ontario Minister of Economic Development and Trade, and 16-year Member of the Legislative Assembly, has joined the firm as Director, Business Development and Global Markets.

Based in PwC's new flagship GTA office, Sandra's skills and business network will assist clients domestically and abroad. In particular, she will assist clients interested in international investment in Canada, particularly from China, India, Brazil and the Middle East; Canadian outbound investment globally; and infrastructure investment and public-private partnerships.

Sandra led the Ontario government's economic portfolio. Sandra oversaw Economic Development, International Trade and Investment, and Small Business. Her work spanned numerous sectors of the economy including energy, financial services, infrastructure, aerospace, automotive, and information technology.

Sandra is known for advancing Ontario's economic strengths against global industry trends and demand.  She has led business missions in major markets globally including: India, China, the EU, the US, the Middle East and Mexico.

Recognized for her dedication and passion, Sandra was awarded the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters Advocacy and Leadership Award in 2009. She has also received numerous awards related to her service to business and in the community.
