Sandvine receives approximately $10 million in expansion orders from Tier 1 North American operator

WATERLOO, ON, Jan. 8, 2014 /CNW/ - Sandvine, (TSX:SVC) a leading provider of intelligent broadband network solutions for fixed and mobile operators, today announced it has received follow-on orders for approximately $10 million from a Tier 1 operator in North America. The orders were received in Sandvine's first quarter of 2014.

To support an expanded set of policy use cases to be deployed in the network, the operator has ordered additional software from Sandvine's Service Creation portfolio, the Service Delivery Engine (SDE), and Sandvine's Policy Traffic Switch (PTS) platform. Sandvine's Service Creation portfolio helps operators increase revenue and customer satisfaction by offering subscribers innovative new service tiers.
