Sask. Native, Burnett, Receives Recognition from CSIC
"
Burnett has dedicated the better part of her career to immigration. Starting with Saskatchewan Immigration in 1985 she has influenced both federal and provincial immigration programs, including the Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Program. After her retirement from government in 2003, Burnett started a second career and became a Certified Canadian Immigration Consultant. Harnessing her entrepreneurial spirit she started her own business, Burnett Immigration Services.
"I am very honored by this recognition, especially knowing that the nomination came from one of my fellow CSIC members," said Burnett of this recognition. "I am pleased that I continue to make a contribution to the province of Saskatchewan and to Saskatchewan businesses while helping newcomers to the province."
CSIC's member spotlight was created to highlight prominent members of the immigration consulting community, focusing on their achievement and contributions to the immigration consulting profession. The recipient of the member spotlight is nominated by CSIC members.
