Remarkable kids from across Canada to meet with parliamentarians to highlight type 1 diabetes (T1D) research
OTTAWA, Nov. 20, 2012 /CNW/ - Next week, children living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) from all across Canada will descend on Ottawa for JDRF's "Kids for a Cure" Day, to meet with parliamentarians, create awareness around T1D, talk about some of the challenges they face on a daily basis, and highlight how T1D research and innovation has improved their lives.
The theme of this year's "Kids for a Cure" Day is "Living Proof… that a cure is within reach." These 40 remarkable kids submitted their inspiring stories to be Living Proof Champions for "Kids for a Cure" Day.
