TORONTO , Dec. 9 /CNW/ - Power and refinement in perfect balance: The Lexus GS series performance luxury sedans deliver both in abundance. For 2010, new safety and audio equipment make the Lexus GS a fresh expression of performance luxury motoring.

"With the added control of the GS 350's available all-wheel-drive, or the effortless power of the V8-equipped GS 460, there's a 2010 GS series for every Lexus guest who seeks something distinctive in their luxury sedan," said Larry Hutchinson , Director of Lexus in Canada . "This year, the GS is standard equipped with additional safety and audio equipment, and the optional navigation systems have been upgraded to a next-generation HDD-based Navigation system."

    
    New for the 2010 model year, all GS models receive:
    -  Active Front Headrests with Whiplash Protection,
    -  Integrated XM Satellite Radio,
    -  USB audio connection.
    

In addition, options packages featuring Navigation systems are upgraded to receive next-generation HDD-based Navigation systems, giving this performance luxury sedan even more refinement.

All GS 460 models now receive a standard rear spoiler plus HDD-based Navigation. The GS 460's Ultra Premium Package now includes:

    
    -  Rear seat side airbags,
    -  Intuitive park assist,
    -  A power rear sunshade,
    -  A 14-speaker Mark Levinson audio system.
    

The 2010 Lexus GS is available in three models: The V6-equipped GS 350 in either rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive configurations, and the V8-powered GS 460 with rear-wheel-drive.

The 2010 Lexus GS series is on sale at Lexus dealers across Canada now. The GS 350 carries a Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price starting at $52,200 for the Rear Wheel Drive model, and $54,200 for the All Wheel Drive model. The GS 460 starts at a suggested $66,800 .
