TORONTO, April 26, 2013 /CNW/ - In a vote of two to zero, Andrew Monaghan was evicted from the Big Brother Canada house in Thursday night's episode. Only one week out from the finale, the 38 year old Nova Scotian left behind the remaining final four.
"I feel a mix of emotions really. I feel quite relieved but I'm also upset that my alliance stabbed me in the back, in the front and all the way around. I'm really glad I made it this far - 64 days is nothing to sneeze at," said Andrew Monaghan.
Adding yet another Head of Household (HOH) title to his roster, Emmett Blois took home the win in Sunday's Brick by Brick HOH challenge and chose to nominate Andrew and Gary Levy for eviction. Earning the most points in the Price of Veto competition, Gary won Power of Veto (POV) and was able to pull himself off the block. HOH Emmett chose to nominate Talla Rejaei as replacement nominee but it was Andrew who was sent packing in a majority vote.
Thursday night's episode closed with a Head of Household (HOH) challenge called What the Dunk? Tune in to Sunday night's episode at 9pm ET/PT to find out who will secure themselves a spot in the final three by winning HOH.
Wednesday's episode will shock the houseguests with a surprise eviction twist - cutting the competition down to Big Brother Canada's three finalists.
