RACINE, Wis., April 20, 2012 /CNW/ - SC Johnson Canada has been named a Great Place to Work by the Great Place to Work® Institute for the seventh straight year. SC Johnson Canada ranked 39 on the list of 50 Best Large and Multinational Workplaces in Canada with more than 1,000 employees.
"Seven consecutive years on this prestigious list is an outstanding accomplishment by the SCJ Canada team," says Darwin Lewis, Senior Vice President – Global Sales and Chief Customer Officer. "This track record is a direct reflection of the commitment by everyone at SCJ Canada to live the values of our family company in everything they do."
Rankings on the annual list are based on the results of a random employee survey, an in-depth review of the organization's culture, policies and procedures, and other supporting documents.
"As a family company, we strive to create an environment that brings out the best in people. But it is the people who provide the energy and pride that ultimately create a great workplace," says Ana Dominguez, General Manager – SC Johnson Canada. "I would like to congratulate every member of SC Johnson Canada for everything they do to make this company so special."
More than 230 companies were evaluated this year and just 100 of those organizations were ultimately ranked as one of the Best Workplaces in Canada. The list is compiled by the Great Place to Work® Institute and published by Canadian newspaper The Globe and Mail.
