School by-election on December 13, 2015 to elect a commissioner at the English Montreal School Board

QUEBEC CITY, Nov. 3, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - A by-election will be held at the English Montreal School Board on December 13, 2015 to elect a commissioner for Electoral District #4 – Côte Saint-Luc/Hampstead. Pursuant to the deadline established in the Act respecting school elections, anyone wishing to run as a candidate in this election may file to do so with the returning officer, Pierre-Yves Bezzaz, from November 3 to 8.      

The Chief Electoral Officer of Québec furthermore wishes to remind all concerned that the rules respecting the financing of candidates and the control of election expenses will apply throughout the election period, which started on October 30, 2015.
