Dr Pepper Canada awards $100,000 in tuition towards continued education
TORONTO, Feb. 3, 2015 /CNW/ - Five "One-of-a-Kind" Canadians recently received the surprise of their lives when Dr Pepper Canada presented them with a $20,000 cheque to help make their educational dreams come true. The Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway asked Canadians to submit a one-minute video explaining why and how they wanted to pursue further education.
The five winners from Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia were chosen from a diverse and competitive list of entries from across the country. The winners, selected by a judging panel, were:
- Seretha W. from Hammonds Plains, NS (Education Goal: Master of Nursing)
- Jonathan M. from Deux Montagne, QC (Education Goal: Mechanic Training)
- Feodor P. from Richmond Hill, ON (Education Goal: Financial/Actuarial Risk and Data Research)
- Brayden A. from Richmond, BC (Education Goal: Crime Prevention/Police Officer)
- Katelyn W. from Port Hardy, BC (Education Goal: Special Education Certification)
