SCI further expands its network in Western Canada with a second major "white glove" facility in Alberta
CALGARY, Oct. 15, 2014 /CNW/ - SCI Logistics, a Canadian provider of end-to-end logistics solutions, today announced further expansion of its high-value transportation network in the West of Canada with the opening of a new major operation in Calgary, Alberta.
The 16,000 square-foot hub resides within the existing 200,000 square-foot SCI facility which now offers a full range of contract logistics and transportation capabilities – from high value transportation and sameday courier to enhanced technical services such as configuration, staging, installation of equipment, to post sales logistics including diagnostics, triage, and break-fix.
"This new transportation hub is our second "white glove" facility opened in Alberta this year. In fact, this addition has increased the coverage directly from our own transportation centers to 75 per cent of Canada, with the rest of the country being serviced by our agents" says Sean Watson, Vice President of Transportation at SCI Logistics.
