SUDBURY, ON, Oct. 11, 2017 /CNW/ - As part of its ongoing international business development, Science North, Canada's 2nd largest science centre, recently signed a cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Grandview Enterprise Co., Ltd., in Guangzhou, China. The MOU between Science North and Grandview Enterprise Co., Ltd., will formalize their relationship and will leverage Science North's expertise in science centre operations, science education, commerce, professional services, and talent training to aid in the creation of a new science centre in Guangzhou, China.
Guy Labine, Science North CEO and Max Xie, CEO of Grandview Enterprise were on hand to sign the MOU in the presence of Ontario's International Trade Minister Michael Chan during the Guangzhou International Shopping Festival (ISF). This year, the festival's theme is Creating a World Class Tourist City, with a focus on Canadian collaboration. The city's mission is to foster the cultural awareness, exchange, and sensitivity between Guangzhou and Canada, while promoting commercial prosperity and tourism between both regions.
