TORONTO, Sept. 10, 2015 /CNW/ - John Maxwell, Executive Director, AIDS Committee of Toronto joined Suzanne Peters, Director, Business Communications & Strategic Programs, TMX Group to open the market to raise awareness for the Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life. The annual walk helps participants show their solidarity for the thousands of Canadians living with, affected by, and at risk of contracting HIV/AIDS. Since its inception in 1996, the Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life has raised over $40 million and has attracted well over half a million walkers.
