ScreenScape the new choice for In-branch Communications
Two of Canada's top ten Credit Union's join growing number of financial institutions on ScreenScape
CHARLOTTETOWN, PE, Sept. 24, 2013 /CNW/ - ScreenScape Networks Inc. announced today that Conexus Credit Union ("Conexus") has chosen its leading place-based media software solution to power an expansive in-branch communications network.
With more than $5 Billion in assets under management, 48 branches, and approximately 118,000 members, Conexus is the largest credit union in Saskatchewan and the sixth largest credit union in the country according to Credit Union Central of Canada ("CUCC").
Conexus plans to have ScreenScape operational in more than 30 branches by the end of 2013. ScreenScape is an industry leading place-based media software solution that businesses use to engage with retail customers using Internet-enabled digital displays. Using simple web-based software, ScreenScape has made it easier for retail marketers to share digital content, such as video and social media messages, with customers as they visit a place of business.
"We were looking to replace our outdated, in-house system with something that would offer a richer, more engaging member experience," said Michael Poulin, Corporate Advertising, Branding and Distribution Manager for Conexus. "We had started talking to some other vendors but it quickly became apparent that ScreenScape offered the most flexible platform at the best value."
In August, ScreenScape also signed Cambrian Credit Union ("Cambrian"), ranked number 9 on the CUCC list of the top ten Credit Unions in Canada. "As a cloud-based solution ScreenScape has proven to be easy to deploy and easy to use. ScreenScape gives us the ability to easily create, manage, and update content in real time with content features built in at no extra cost. This is going to change the way we communicate with our members as they visit our branches." stated Kim Wentz, VP Marketing and Communications at Cambrian.
Named by Deloitte as one of the Top Ten Tech Companies to watch in 2012, ScreenScape continues to make a name for itself as a key business enabler in retail financial services and a number of other vertical markets such as automotive and healthcare. Its network-centric approach helps local personnel to publish messages on digital screens in their store while at the same time, using a ScreenScape Group, a central marketing organization can post branded content, such as digital video, to screens across many sites simultaneously.
Conexus and Cambrian now join Libro Financial Group, Omista Credit Union, Credit Union Atlantic, Investors Group, Ukrainian Credit Union, and Mennonite Savings & Credit Union as financial services institutions who have embraced ScreenScape-technology for in-branch communications this year.
"We are thrilled with the string of successes we have had recently in the financial services sector," commented Mark Hemphill ScreenScape Founder and CEO. "The benefits of place-based marketing are on full display when you walk into a bank that truly gets it. In place of television, which you used to see, you now see relevant, engaging media that has been carefully curated by the bank. This enhances the in-branch experience. It helps financial institutions to educate their customers on new products & services, and it often helps them to demonstrate their commitment to the local community."
