Sea Cloud Cruises: Take a Cycling Cruise on the Windjammer

HAMBURG, Germany, Nov. 6, 2012 /CNW/ - In the coming year, Sea Cloud Cruises, the Hamburg specialist in high-quality yachting holidays, together with the cycling tour organiser "terranova", will for the first time offer a cycling cruise on one of its two windjammers, the Sea Cloud II.

On the cruise from Malta to Valencia (28 October - 5 November 2013 / 9 days from USD 4,145 per person), guests on the Sea Cloud II can discover the Mediterranean's most beautiful islands by bicycle: Malta with its fortress town of Valletta, Sicily with its lemon groves, Baroque cities and wonderful views of the Ionian coast as well as the unspoilt landscape of Sardinia and picturesque artists' villages of Mallorca.

Sea Cloud Cruises has already offered cycling cruises for some years on its river yacht River Cloud II. In 2013 cruises (Amsterdam - Amsterdam, e.g. 13 April - 20 April 2013 / 8 days from USD 2,575 per person) will pass through seafaring towns on the Ijsselmeer and along the Danube (Passau - Budapest, e.g. 13 July - 20 July 2013 / 8 days from USD 2,575 per person).

Each participant will be provided with a specialised high-quality bicycle for the duration of the trip. An accompanying bus with trailer for the transport of bikes and providing the option of a lift means that there is reliable mobile support on hand.
