Searidge ATC-Grade Video System in Operation at Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport

System provides controllers with improved situational awareness of aircraft traffic to/from airport terminal.

Searidge Technologies, provider of surface management solutions to Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) and airports, announced that their ATC-Grade Video system passed site acceptance testing and is operational at Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport (YWG).

At YWG, the Searidge ATC-Grade video system is monitoring traffic in the apron area and two adjoining taxiways north of the airport's terminal building, providing NAV CANADA's air traffic controllers with a complete stitched view of the apron traffic so they can safely and efficiently advise pushback.
