Join Sears Canada at the 110th Santa Claus Parade on Sunday, November 16
TORONTO, Nov. 13, 2014 /CNW/ - For over 60 years the Sears Wish Book has provided magical memories for Canadians of tearing out pages in the toy section or using a highlighter to circle their most wanted gifts. That nostalgic moment continues to come to life with Sears Canada's 62nd edition of the iconic Christmas Wish Book.
Open the Sears Wish Book to discover a Wishlist Wonderland, featuring over 600 pages of gifts for this Holiday season. Canadians can choose how they shop:
"The Sears Wish Book has been a staple of the Holiday season in Canadian homes coast to coast for over six decades," said Ron Boire, Acting President and CEO, Sears Canada Inc. "We take as much joy in publishing this Canadian iconic gift guide every year as Canadians do receiving it. The spirit of spreading joy through Wish Book gift giving will come to life in a special way this year at the 110th annual Toronto Santa Claus Parade, the longest-running children's parade in the world, where the Sears Canada float will depict Sears charity plush bear, Finn, flying his airplane across Canada, in search of Santa."
The annual Santa Claus Parade starts at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, and it airs nationally on CTV later that same afternoon, at 4:30 pm ET. Finn will be on display, in his float, for children and their families to enjoy, and the actual plush bear can be purchased at any Sears Department Store or online at www.sears.ca. 100% of the profits from the sale of Finn will be donated to Sears Canada Charitable Foundation sponsored organizations that support the healthy development of Canadian youth.
Finn is featured in Sears 2014 Wish Book, along with over 1,800 other toys for children of all ages that can be purchased at Sears.ca. Here are Sears 20 Must-Have Toys for this Holiday season and hyperlinks to each item:
