Season opens for certain clubs - The Fédération des clubs de motoneigistes du Québec invites you to be extra careful Français
MONTREAL, Dec. 11, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The snowmobiling season is slow in starting in most regions of Quebec. If riding has begun in your area, the FCMQ wishes to remind you to be extra vigilant, particularly when approaching waterways, and to cross only where there are clearly marked trails maintained by the local snowmobile club.
The best indicator of trail readiness is undoubtedly the official opening by the local club. It is important to ride safely, respect the posted speed limits and refrain from consuming alcohol both before and during the ride. Club volunteers are hard at work getting the trails ready and as soon as the white carpet arrives, rest assured that they will provide access to the world's foremost snowmobile trail network. To find out which sectors are currently open, we invite you to contact your local club prior to heading out.
