MONTREAL, Jan. 15, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Sentient Executive GP III, Limited ("Sentient III") announces that it has converted a $800,000 principal amount convertible note issued by Strateco Resources Inc. ("Strateco") into 16,877,637 common shares of Strateco ("Strateco Shares"), representing approximately 7.21% of the outstanding Strateco Shares.

Sentient III has control or direction over 16,877,637 Strateco Shares (representing approximately 7.21% of the outstanding Strateco Shares).

Sentient III acquired the 16,877,637 Strateco Shares for investment purposes only and not with a view to materially affecting control of Strateco.
