Sentient III exercises warrants of Mawson Resources Limited

MONTREAL, Oct. 30, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Sentient Executive GP III, Limited ("Sentient III") announces that it has exercised 2,941,176 common share purchase warrants previously issued by Mawson Resources Limited ("Mawson"), and, as such, acquired control over 2,941,176 common shares of Mawson (the "Shares"). The Shares, together with common shares acquired since December 20, 2011, represent an increase of approximately 6.38%.

Sentient III has control or direction over 8,343,476 common shares of Mawson representing approximately 14.9% of the outstanding common shares of Mawson.

Sentient Executive GP IV, Limited ("Sentient IV"), a related entity of Sentient III, which may be considered as acting jointly or in concert with Sentient III under relevant securities laws, has control or direction over 4,873,000 common shares of Mawson, representing approximately 8.7% of the outstanding common shares of Mawson.

Sentient III and Sentient IV have control or direction over 13,216,476 common shares of Mawson, representing approximately 23.6% of the outstanding common shares of Mawson.

Sentient III acquired the Shares for investment purposes only and not with a view to materially affecting control of Mawson
