September 3 - CAW President Ken Lewenza Addresses Crowd for Labour Day
TORONTO, Aug. 31, 2012 /CNW/ - Thousands of CAW members will be taking part in the Toronto Labour Day parade on Monday, September 3, downtown Toronto. Many will gather near Nathan Phillips Square for speeches and music at 9 a.m. before the parade.

Toronto and York Region Labour Council President John Cartwright,
Ontario Federation of Labour Sid Ryan,
Canadian Labour Congress President Hassan Yussuff,
PowerShift 2012 GTA Organizer Sonia Grant,
United Federation of Danish Workers General Secretary Per Christiansen
CAW President Ken Lewenza.
The CAW is currently in negotiations with General Motors, Chrysler and Ford. The union recently voted to join with the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union to form a new organization.
