Serge Fiori awarded a gold album

MONTREAL, March 19, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - A mere ten days after its March 4 release, the new Serge Fiori album has been certified gold by the Canadian Recording Industry Association (CRIA), recognizing sales of 40,000 copies. Entitled SERGE FIORI, the album is also ranked #1 in sales in Québec and Canada for a second consecutive week, proof positive of the deep and abiding connection fans have with the singer-songwriter.

For the first time in 2014, a Canadian artist has scored a #1 album on the
Billboard Canada Albums chart, and his name is Serge Fiori.

Co-produced by Serge Fiori and Marc Pérusse, the album presents ten songs written by Serge and a brief instrumental epilogue composed by Marc. Like multiple facets of the same prism, the songs cover an extensive spectrum ranging from social commentary to more intimate themes. This deeply personal work is emblematic of a sensitive artist with a sharp and lucid perspective on the world.
