SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 4, 2017 /CNW/ -- Sesame Software has launched a new cloud-based backup and recovery service on the Salesforce AppExchange, empowering businesses to connect with their customers, partners and employees in entirely new ways. With the new service, Sesame is using their industrial-strength Relational Junction product as the underlying technology.
Built on the Salesforce Platform, Relational Junction is currently available on the AppExchange at appexchange.salesforce.com.
Since September 2004, Sesame has sold on-premise solutions for reporting data warehouses, integration hubs, and data compliance. Sesame Software CEO Rick Banister notes, "There has been a paradigm shift toward cloud backup solutions as organizations are becoming more comfortable with trusting vendors to manage their data backups and less trusting of their own organizations in administering, securing, and recovering that data. We're hearing reports by customers of competing backup solutions that their daily backups are missing data and that the recovery tools are either completely lacking or too primitive to actually perform a recovery."
