TORONTO, Jan. 27, 2016 /CNW/ - Advance polls for the Whitby-Oshawa provincial by-election begin on Saturday, January 30 and are available through Friday, February 5, 2016. Advance polls are open from 10 AM to 8 PM (ET).
Canadian citizens who reside in the electoral district of Whitby-Oshawa and are at least 18 years of age or older on Election Day, Thursday February 11, 2016, are eligible to vote.
Advance poll locations, dates and times are printed on the Notice of Registration Cards sent to registered voters. A complete list of advance poll locations is available at elections.on.ca.
Special ballot voting continues at the Whitby-Oshawa returning office until 6 PM (ET) on Wednesday February 10, 2016.
On Election Day, Thursday February 11, 2016 voting locations will be open from 9 AM to 9 PM (ET).
Eligible voters are reminded to bring their Notice of Registration Card and proof of identity or one piece of identification that includes both their name and residential address with them to vote. A detailed list of acceptable identification documents is available at elections.on.ca.
