Seventh Generation Donates Diapers to Moms in Need - Green Brand Launches
CHANGES Program in Canada to Assist Women in Shelters
MONTREAL, Aug. 12 /CNW Telbec/ - Seventh Generation, a leading North American brand of environmentally responsible household, baby and personal care products, recently launched the charitable program CHANGES, to benefit mothers in need throughout Ontario and Quebec. During the month of August, for every pack of Seventh Generation diapers sold in stores, the company will donate one pack of Seventh Generation chlorine-free diapers to women's shelters in Quebec and Ontario.
Each year in Canada, more than 100,000 women must temporarily seek refuge from difficult life circumstances in a shelter home. In many cases, these women are mothers with infants. Seventh Generation is committed to doing its part to assist the non-profit organizations that provide shelter and care to women with the essential work they do. The CHANGES program represents Seventh Generation's ongoing commitment to supporting local communities in addition to donating 10% of its annual profits to the community.
"Every day we're thinking about the next generation and working to provide them with safe, non-toxic products and a healthier environment," says Jeffrey Hollender, co-founder and Chief Inspired Protagonist of Seventh Generation. "Through the CHANGES program we'll be giving babies a healthy start by providing diapers to women and children in need across Canada."
Seventh Generation chlorine-free diapers are available at Walmart, Loblaws and most retailers where natural/health products are sold.
