SGX Resources Inc. Announces Annual and Special Meeting Voting Results and Appointment of Officers

TORONTO, Jan. 11, 2017 /CNW/ - SGX Resources Inc. (the "SGX" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce the results of the Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders ("Meeting"), held on January 10, 2017, which was requisitioned by Klondex Canada Ltd. ("Klondex"). At the Meeting, 61.85% of the issued and outstanding shares were represented. A majority of shareholders approved all resolutions brought before the Meeting. A detailed description of all resolutions that were voted on can be reviewed in the Dissident's Proxy Circular, which was filed on SEDAR on December 20, 2016. The number of directors of the Company was set at five and all of the director nominees listed in the Dissident's Proxy Circular were elected as directors of SGX. Detailed results of the vote are set out below:

In addition, shareholders of the Company also approved resolutions: re-appointing the Company's auditors, Scarrow & Donald LLP with 76.97% of the votes cast in favour; and re-approving the Company's stock option plan with 75.55% of the votes cast in favour.

Following the Meeting, the newly elected directors of the Company appointed Bruce Reid as Chief Executive Officer and Julio DiGirolamo as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
