Shrinebowl 2017 speaks out a strong message "#CutTheBull" to raise funds for Shriners Hospitals for Children® - Canada Français
MONTRÉAL, Sept. 26, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are cordially invited to a press conference for the simultaneous launch of the 31st Edition of the Canada Shrinebowl and the #CutTheBull campaign. In attendance will be former player for the Canadiens and radio host at 91.9 Sports, Georges Laraque, who is the Honorary Chairman of this year's game, Stingers (Concordia University) and Vert & Or (Sherbrooke University) coaches, Mickey Donovan and Mathieu Lecompte, Mike Keys, Chairman of the Shrinebowl Organizing Committee and Jacques Boissonneault, Administrator of Shriners Hospitals for Children — Canada. Our patients Nia, 12 years old and Broden, 11 years old, Shrinebowl 2017 Queen and King of will also be available to answer questions from the media and speak about their hospital experience.

Since 1987, this popular traditional event has raised almost one million dollars to benefit the Hospital and the care given to our patients. This year, the #CutTheBull campaign is partnering with this intercollegiate football game to raise awareness on the fact that youths with limitations are twice as likely to be bullied at school or elsewhere.
