MONTREAL, July 16, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - On Thursday July 18, the Montreal-based creative agency Sid Lee is planning a theme day with the title "Sid Loves Montreal". The day is a tribute to the city of Montreal, planned to celebrate the cultural roots of the company. The initiative serves as a way to make the more than 400 Sid Lee artisans, amongst who several are from out of town, discover the city of Montreal.
From 11.15 to 1 PM, we invite the media to join the event. Martin Gauthier, President of Sid Lee Montreal, will be ready to receive the media at 11.15 to explain the purpose of the initiative and answer questions. Shortly after, the artisans will arrive to the bistro, and there will be plenty of opportunities to get some nice visuals. Furthermore, the media are invited to participate in a Montreal-focused lunch-and-learn.
For the artisans, the day will begin at 8.00 AM when they are offered a true Montreal breakfast Beauty's style. At lunch, they are invited to enjoy smoked meat à la Schwartz while participating in a lunch-and-learn that will focus on the various aspects of Montreal; from its history and design, to the hidden gems of the city. The day will also serve as an occasion to launch a new collection from Aquaovo, a Montreal company. The collection has been created in collaboration with Sid Lee Collective for the ONE DROP Foundation.
