HAMPSTEAD, QC, Sept. 9, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - The Town of Hampstead is celebrating its 100th anniversary Sunday, September 21, 2014, with a full day of events.
There will be a parade along Queen Mary Road and Fleet from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, followed by a concert in Hampstead Park and fireworks at 7:30 pm.

The parade features over 60 groups representing more than 850 participants including 15 ethnic dance groups, antique and exotic cars, salsa groups, bands, circus performers, celebrities and dignitaries, free giveaways and so much more. The Royal Montreal Regiment will also attend in full regalia with close to 100 soldiers to exercise its Freedom of the City bestowed in 2008.
